Painting Delayed by Weather!

It was 18° in the 'studio' (cargo trailer) this morning.

Kinda difficult to paint watercolors when the water is hard!

    1. Can't. Too busy breathing on my watercolor water trying to get it liquid again.

  2. We had a heatwave over night here, up to 11° when I got up. Yes, that would be hard to paint in temps like that.

  3. Yep, and spitting on the brush instead - well that just doesn't work at all!

  4. Michelle holds her brush in her mouth between daubs. I guess it helps keep the bristles together, but it reminds me of the kid in kindergarten who ate library paste.

    1. I often reshape the tip of a brush in my mouth, usually when there's no pigment in the brush, but not always, because sometimes I forget. (My watercolor paints are honey based, but dont taste like honey!)
