Maybe after 10 years or so I'm finally starting to get better with it?.<br /><br />Speaking of having a plan when going off trail, I'm writting this while eating lunch from well off the trail up on top of the southern of the Twin Buttes. (Which is why I have a signal dor the first time in a week. And no security worries. I'm heading home in a few hours.) One hiking stick is nearby pointing towards where I left my (bright) towel hanging on a branch. The other hiking stick is within sight of the towel and pointing down-slope in the direction of the trail.
