Made this 'sculpture' years ago out of some copper grounding wire left over from building one of the barns. After all, can't waste the stuff can you?
But it has never showed well. Always blending in to the background.
So I took some leftover rattle-cans to it
and spent 5 minutes trying to give it a little more oomph
in its native habitat.
Hummm, it still doesn't show up very well does it?
But after many months of sitting out there, despite the destructive racoons that visit every night, being in the grips of a flash-drought, and that spot only getting a minimal amount of sun every day,
the casual garden-art has been transformed into a trellis.
